I finally got my damn bluebells. Not too late for us slackers!
There were by the sea in Croyde. Last weekend, Sam, Tess, and I camped out in their camper van at one of the most beautiful campgrounds I've ever been too. I got to sleep upstairs in the pop-up roof thing.
It's so weird to be in England and see surf shops everywhere. The Devon coast is beautiful. It's basically England trying to be California and honestly, they're not doing a bad job of it. The water is very cold. Booties-and-hood-cold. Damn.
I'm told Cornwall is even better. I need to get myself there soon.
So I'm in San Francisco now. Justin and I went to the races at Bay Meadows last night. It's their final weekend. What a shame. It's such a nice place and so old-school charming. I suppose the land will be recycled into luxury apartments or mixed-used commercial space. Gag.
