I've been really lazy about updating...sorry about this.
Let's see...I have an NHS card now. I can use the national healthcare services here legally finally :)
My college roommate is coming to visit tomorrow. We're going to take the chunnel to Paris :) I really like the idea of the chunnel - city to city transport without the hassles of the airport, no liquid carry on restrictions, no chance that it can be hijacked and driven into a skyscraper, (probably) more fuel efficient than flying a giant bus through the air, more area to walk around on.
The internets is awesome - this was confirmed again today. So you know how I have an iRiver Clix that I love but is constantly giving me lip? Today the issue was that it was playing everything in double time. I have no idea how that happened or how to fix it. So I Googled "iRiver Clix help" and it found an whole community of Clix lovers/users. There are other people who knew my pain/joy and I found the solution. Amazing. Help from real people from around the world. The webs must be saving lots of companies a lot of money in CS.
