Not sure if this one has been discussed: the -f nouns pluralized into -ves. Examples include: leaf/leaves, knife/knives, wife/wives, shelf/shelves.
What about chef...cheves? And what of roof/rooves? Dictionary.com tells me this is wrong but...it's a computer and I am a human being...yet I am the logical one here??
