Travel pourover mug

I got this neat new travel mug. I have several insulated travel mugs already, but what makes this one great is that it has a built in pourover filter!!! How neat is that?

From the outside, it looks like an ordinary travel mug, brushed silver with a handle. But below, is stored a pourover filter!

You take it off, put it on top, and add ground coffee. I found it worked best with medium fine grind. Too coarse, and the water poured right through. Too fine, and it was silty. I am personally recommending that you use more than their "1 cup" and "2 cup" lines indicate.

The attention to detail on this thing is really good. One thing I noticed when I first took it out of the box was that it landed on the counter with a soft thump because of the rubberized ring on the bottom.

On top of this, the lid screws on tightly and does not leak when upside down. I think this would be great to take on overseas trips (Robert could have really used this in Taiwan), car camping, or road trips. It would be a little bulky for backpacking.
