First day back at work after two weeks. I was so glad to hear that there were no fires before Thanksgiving, or today. They handled it superbly and I guess the automation stuff worked well too.
Esther paid us a surprise visit. She moved to Tel Aviv about 6 months ago and has been traveling, learning and exploring since. She currently is back to for Thanksgiving and to see family. Apparently, she loves Tel Aviv. She has been doing acroyoga which sounds really awesome. She wants to go to the Israeli burn for the first time, and has invited me to come along with her. I must remember to introduce her to Rei.
Later tonight I went to see Mara at the Utah. I missed her set, but we chatted and had some tea. It seems like a lot of trans people are having a really hard time with the election results. I'm not sure what to say. I think they know I'm with them and that I will fight with them, but I understand how this how discouraging this must seem to them.
