Another kick-ass weekend. Friday brought me to an Iranian art festival where there was some nice dancing. Then "Science of Sleep" with Johnny, John, Theanne, and her friend. I introduced John and Theanne to the joys of the Kite Hill slides.
On Saturday Sarah and I went on a Chicken John field trip! Chicken John is another one of these cool burner-types who make things happen(don't ever use the b-word on him though). He used to own a bar/circus called Odeon and now owns a tour bus and leads field trips to awesome places. They've been to the airplane graveyard, a crosscountry trip, all kinds of places. Yesterday was a one-day trip to a pumpkin patch and hay maze. The crowd was great - your typical wacky, friendly, colorful burner crowd. The maze was great! It was a real challenge - not some crappy funhouse for little kids. At the end there was a minataur handing out golden mini pumpkins :)
