Sorry for the absence, when things go wrong, I don't feel like blogging. When things are well, I do. So here I am.
Last week Wednesday, I went to Burning Pub at the usual place, the Old Crown. It was the first time I'd used the toilet though. It's a really nice bathroom for a pub - clean, modern, frosted glass doors, white hand towels to dry your hands each time. There is one stall in there that contains two toilets though...I'm not sure why. Jess and I used it. It wasn't too bad.

On Friday I hung out with some worky types and got drunk. I tried to convince the whole IT department to never service A again.
This weekend I got a cold and didn't do anything. I flickered between being really sad and being okay with it and just wanting think about it because there is nothing I can do.
I made A hat for the Saints game in two weeks. Should I give it to him? I sure as hell am not ever going to wear it.
On Monday I felt pretty much the same. Work was okay; it was a distraction if anything. Afterwards, I had some Frulis with Ben at the Castle and bitched about the "calculating bastard" (his words).
Then Justin showed up on Monday night! Yay! He showed me his toe (or lack of). I have asked for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday off so Justin and I can hang out.
Tuesday was really awesome. I was sunny and I could actually walk around in a tank top (first time since moving here). We had tea and went to Hampstead Heath.
Dan (well Emunah) had a show that night at 93 Feet East on Brick Lane so I brought Justin along. I also brought along an American burner I met at Burning Pub last week, this guy Duncan. Once we got there, there were all these other Burners. I forgot that Dan himself is part of the group since I met him seperately through Sarah. So that was cool.
It was a great show. It's a mix of electronica, hip hop, rock, very fast rapping, and violin (Justin said violin is actually very popular in hip hop; I didn't know this). It sounds like a weird combination but it works! After the show we were able to have a drink for about 10 minutes before it turn 11pm and we were kicked out (London is so weird).
With nowhere else to go, it was decided that we would head over to the job centre, where a bunch of people were squatting. It's way the hell out in north London in Totttenham. Let me tell you, this is the Hilton of squats. It's huge, clean, has carpet and windows, electricity and hot water. There are tons of rooms. Unfortunately, they are being kicked out next week. I think they've been there for a while though.
Anyway, it was a good night. I've never seen people do so much K on a Tuesday night. But then again, I've never lived rent-free in a government job centre either.
I'm feeling better today.
