On Wednesday Justin and I went to the Natural History Museum and looked at the insect section. Ben Russell met us there and hung out. Justin and Ben dorked out. This seems to happen a lot when my friends meet.
The next day we went to the Tate Modern and went down the slides. I think they're coming down in April so I'm glad we went. It was extremely fun. This is a must do if you're coming to London any time soon.
We were already in south London so we decided to go to Greenwich too. As in Greenwish Mean Time, the center of the world! It was alright. Cute little town. There is a tunnel there that goes under the Thames that connects south London with north London.
Justin went home on Friday morning and I went back to work. Afterwards, I went to pick up the bike I got on eBay. It was sold by this guy who builds bikes in his garage. This one was built for his daughter but she didnt' want it. I figured that these factors would equal a pretty decent bike. Plus it's a hybrid road bike and it was £35. Not bad.
On Saturday I went to a big box type of mall in north London. I didn't even know these places existed. There were parking lots and everything. I indulged in some shameless consumerism.
Most of the weekend though, I moped. :(
I didn't even go to the party. Second weekend in a row where I opted to sit in and mope rather than go out.
