Everyone i know is in total disbelief. Well some people believe and are just bewildered. One person said that he feels like someone just broke up with him. I can identify with the feeling of the world just dropping out from under him. Others say that they feel like there was a shooting and that they are scared and don't know what to do. I understand the feeling of disillusionment.
The PAQ meeting was somber yesterday. A trans member is visibly upset and uncertain about her future.
I am afraid for the immigrants, the Muslims, the environment. The women who will have family planning choices taken from them.
The PAQ would like to host a safe space event, where people can talk about their feelings, be heard, be among others who share their feelings. Maybe we can comfort and be strong for each other. I have a planning meeting with HR. soon. I will update on how that goes.
