I'm back. It's weird. But it's weirder in SF. In SF it was like I went to sleep for 6 months and then woke up and life just carried on. Most things were the same. But my life was not the same. I developed a second life in London during that time. Having two lives is weird.
The flight was full this time. No empty seats for me. And they fed us only twice. Though I may have slept through a feeding.
In London things are different. They retiled the steps at the Finchley Road tube station. Matt Peskett is gone. The trees are all much fuller and greener. I can sleep with the windows open.
But London has the same smell - a strange mixture of plastic and diesel fumes.
I slept most of yesterday. I was going to be a good employee and go to work but I passed out. I woke up at around 6pm but couldn't be bothered to go out. I missed Kate's birthday :(
I have to unpack. I'm not sure if it's worse or less worse than packing.
Today Sam and Adam, who both work in Farringdon, came up to King's Cross for lunch. We sat by the canal and discussed Nowhere. It will be tiring to go to Nowhere for 4 days and then jet off to Israel but I'd really like to go. Plus I have enough miles to get a free ticket from western europe! Yay for Israel being a domestic(ish) flight from England!
I bought my ticket to France (again) today. THIS time, I'm going. June 9-12.
Hackney Pub Club meets tonight but I still don't want to go out :( I'm lame/tired. Plus I need food.
