Last Thursday was another mobile clubbing thing. It was at St. Paul's Cathedral, as well as St. Mary's in Sheffield (wherever that is) and St. Peter's in Brighton. The idea was to have them start simutaneously (at 6:46pm) for this Peter, Paul and Mary dancing trifecta.
Anyway, I didn't go because MOO WAS HAVING A HOT AND STICKY STICKER LAUNCH PARTY!

The new MOO stickers pretty much rock. Like the MOO minicards, you can choose your own pictures from your own Flickr album and have them printed on tiny canvases to share with your friends. In this case, your canvas is a 22 mm2 glossy sticker. They come 90 to a folding "matchbook" style pack and run £5 or $10. Here are the sample books they gave out:
Those of us who live in London are extra lucky because MOO's based in Clerkenwell and your order arrives fast.
Anyway, party. Yes, it was good. There was free all-you-can-swill beer, but no appletinis :( We were told that because of the exchange rate and because London is so outrageously expensive anyway, the same party would cost 4 times as much in London as it would in SF.
So in addition to free beer and munchies, we got free stickers :D And they did the minicard plexiglass (I think the brits call it perspex? maybe perspex = lucite) galleries too. Cinnamon, although from SF, is so awesome that they put up her gallery again. I saw some of the people at the SF MOO birthday party again too, including the supercool Stef, who is also a burner.
This weekend was pretty calm. I went to a so-so party on Friday night way out in Tooting. The next morning Sam and I got a great breakfast at this place next to the London Buddhist Centre in Bethnal Green. Highly delicious and quite generous in their portions too - they serve free-range eggs and veggies sausages that are covered in some sort of tomato sauce. I also discovered that putting vanilla soy milk in your tea is outrageously good.
