For his birthday, Sam rented a canal boat outside of Bath for the weekend. It was amazing. The weather finally turned and it was hot and sunny. There were acres and acres of grassy fields and hills. We went swimming in the river. The water was cold and the current was strong. It was wonderful to not only get out of the city, but to do it in such a beautiful place.
I totally want a canal boat now. This one had two berths and a good sized living room. Hannah and I are making plans to get one together. We'll hitch ourselves to a mooring
in Hackney and sail down to work every morning.
