I love how you buy things by the kilo here. The other day, I bought a kilo of frozen corn. Frozen corn and cocaine are sold by the same unit of measurement. Ha!
The groceries here are much more reasonalbly priced. Maybe it's just San Francisco (well, I know it's San Francisco) but groceries are outrageously priced back home. I bought a loaf of nice bread with sunflower seeds and stuff in it for £1. The kilo of frozen corn was 87p. If I can eat nothing but corn sandwiches for the next 6 months, I will come home rolling in dough.
what about.....CORN SANDWICHES???
ReplyDeleteMost people buy blow in rather smaller quantities (I am lead to belive)...however, for the sake of the analogy, a gram of corn probably wouldn't look terribly impressive... ;)
