Last night was the first time in 5 days that I slept in my own bed. Before you begin woohooing me, I should say that they were all on people's couches. Here's the run down:

Wednesday night: Ben's couch
Thursday night: Adam's couch
Friday night: David's couch
Saturday night: Sam's couch.
Sunday: home sweet home.

I'm trying to figure out why I've been avoiding being at home lately. I should say that whatever I'm running from, sleeping other other people's couches has fixed because I've been feeling a lot better. Even better.
Lessee, what'd I do on Friday? Drinks in the Lincoln with worky types. I got drunk with Amanda and David. Amanda stronly dislikes Arran which was very satisfying. We somehow ended up at David's house. He has a two bedroom right off Brick Lane which he bought in 1999 for a great price. It's probably worth double that now.
Saturday: I had my bike safely training at 10am so I rushed home. Zak laughed at me for going to a bike safety training class so I lost all motivation and didn't go. I went to Kilburn, got some cheap produce, went thrift shopping. Then met Adam and Jess at Hampstead Heath. That was great - I'm always having to go to Hackney and it's about time that someone came this way.
There was a squat party at India's sister's house that night, but I (again) didn't feel like being up all night and bailed to hang out with Sam. We watched the Mighty Boosh and had an early night in.
The next morning we went to the Columbia Road market, where they sell plants and flowers and there are lots of bread and cheese and pastry and olive stores. There was an accordian band playing. It's really cute.

Then we went to the Hackney City Farm because I've been wanting to go for ages. They had sheep, one goat, two cows, a donkey, and an assortment of feathered farm friends. This one goose was particularly friendly and he let me pet him. Geese are incredibly soft, especially their necks.

We headed towards London Fields. It was beautiful, warm day. The kind of day where you could be naked and perfectly happy in either the shade or in the sun. But I had to wear my clothes because we're in London. We had a picnic with delicious honey beer, hummous, bread and cheese from the market that morning, and wine. I received and administered a foot massage and have been cured of my foot phobia.
We went to see a movie: The Lives of Others. It takes place in East Germany when there was still an East Germany. A playwright is suspected of anti-socialist plans and the government starts surveilling him. It was excellent.
Wow, that was a lot. Sunday was fun.
Sam is buying a house with Tessa. They're talking to mortgage people today.
