Saturday night: Dinner and Degeneracy. Dinner was delicious. Up all night with degeneracy.
Next day: the new Lewisham pub squat. It needs a lot of cleaning up, but it's pretty nice. Three floors, lots of rooms, a big round tub on the top floor. At some point the cops showed up but nurse talked to them and they left. There are actually squatter's rights here. It's great.
Arran wrote me just to say that he's started reading my blog. Arran, do you really think it's fair to read this? You don't speak to me for weeks and weeks and you get to know everything about my life and how I feel? Yes, I know it's on the internet and I willinging put it on a public site for everyone to read but do you really think this is fair?
This post spurred me to write something as I am doing the opposite of what you are doing, ie. a Londoner living in the US. As I work for the same company I had felt like I was prying into your personal life. But I find your experiences and opinions of living in my hometown really interesting and I enjoy reading about what you like and what you get up to in London - kinda makes me feel closer to home. Anyway, that's it, your last post made me feel less bad.
ReplyDeleteHey don't worry about it. I'm glad you enjoy it. Feel free to post things that you think I might like doing in London. No more squat parties though. I've got that covered.
