Today is Thursday. Still doing pretty good. This is so much better than being unhappy.
On Wednesday Ben and I went out for kofta at Diwana. I've been craving them but the Ravi Shankar place only serves them on Fridays. Meh. You should stick to the dosas at Diwana. The koftas here were mushy and the sauce was fruity and cinnamony. But it was great to see him.
Yesterday was so nice. I left work at nearly 7 and it was still light out. I couldn't bear the thought of going underground so I decided to walk along the canal home. I made it to Camden and then caught the bus from there. It's a really nice walk. If I can ride my bike the whole way to work, it's totally do-able. My cycle maps also came in this morning. They're maps of London with bike-friendly streets colored in.
Ben Russell came over a little later. We talked about his dinner on Monday and topics they could center around. He and Hannah want to start doing dinners or gatherings where a bunch of cool people get to meet. Maybe a policeperson will come and talk about what it's like to be a cop. Stuff like this.
There may be another talk tonight. Not sure if I want to go through with this. I should though, just to get it over with.
